She stared at the blank white halls. The museum was under construction. She wasn't even supposed to be here. But there was just something about blank and empty anything that interested her.
An extraordinarily pale hand ran through the dark tendrils of her hair. The locks were getting in her face and this made focusing on the vacant walls difficult. She had left her hair tie at home and that was something she regretted. Maybe if she was lucky she could find a piece of string and improvise. She twisted her rainbow-stained fingers through the hair. At the very least she could tame it to remain behind her ears...
Her fingers twitched. She reached out, wanting to touch the wall, to feel its texture. It looked so smooth with nothing decorating it...
Yellow and orange trailed from her index and middle finger.
She smiled.
Twirling around, red trailed from her ring finger, creating waves on the walls.
With a grin, she began to run down the hall, her fingers trailing along the wall. The colors morphed and twisted together, creating alien landscapes never before seen. Red jumped towards the ceiling, becoming lighter and lighter as it went. The orange sank to the floor and yellow twisted through it. Brown shot up and branched out. Ochre swam out from the fingers of brown.
With a giggle, she turned and ran to the opposite wall, her left hand gliding up and down as she ran. Trails of deep blue and sea green followed her fingers. Small bits of white and other colors appeared wherever she tapped her ring and index finger.
Spinning around, she ran back down the hall to where she started. Ribbons of color poured from the tips of her fingers, following her. Reds and purples pulsed together as yellows and blues puffed out into their lightest and darkest shades. Oranges and greens spun together, never mixing, never blending, but creating the most interesting colored of ropes.
She suddenly stopped and the colors fell to the tiled floors.
Turning around, she grinned at her handiwork, not a blank wall in sight.

Comments
I think the way you described how the colors moved was PERFECT, like they were ALIVE somehow, moving even as they are on the wall, growing, spreading, twisting until they're just right. =]
